Simplifying my online presence

So my goal was to remove the things not working. I would like to build more “passive income” and some of these platforms would potentially generate it if I build them up properly, however, I am in my early days of my business and I need to make it sustainable and build one thing up at a time.

I have decided I no longer want to contribute or be part of Redbubble, Etsy, or Substack. I have deleted my Redbubble store. I haven’t deleted my Etsy store as yet, but will be this month. I am going to lurk on Substack still but I will not contribute.

My business focus for the first quarter will be to focus on content creation on YouTube. Now I can cross post these videos on other platforms and there are some tools to automate posting on behalf but in reality I need to stop trying to do too much as I will not do it well. No matter how tempting as my last reel went quite well. Maybe there is a case for cross posting potentially attracting a different type of audience and I will look into a social media schedular/poster type app to at least take some of the burden off me doing it all manually.

So the platforms I will focus time and energy on are YouTube, Spoonflower, and my website.

I will pop in here at the end of January with goals for February as I will have more time in the day to work on my business with full focus as my 5 year old goes back to school. I will also post a stats of my month post of January. It is a bit of a quiet month, so it can serve as beginning stats for the year.
