A painting of the beach
Hello, hope you are well. I like to go on little local adventures that inspire my art. I hope to change up how I go about my little adventures in the near future as I really want to get out on the water. I’d love to learn to sail and have a yacht, but that is out of my budget. A more appropriate and budget friendly (in comparison) is a kayak. So I am willing this to occur in the near future and that it will provide new perspectives and the ability to reach new locations that I can’t reach by land.

In the meantime, I will enjoy the water from the land side and here I have enjoyed a little beach walk and adventure followed by a quick painting.

I have this painting above as a free downloadable art print available on Buy me a coffee. You can download and print it out.
Quick May diary
May was a fairly creative month for me. I completed four artworks and started another. The artwork featured in this post is one of them and there were three others that were created from one reference photo. One reference photo three artworks.
The other artwork I started was one inspired by some floral tapestries. I wanted a colourful artwork to hang in a bedroom and as I have gone along the journey of creating this work, decided I wanted to make more in different flowers. This one is nasturtiums.

Nasturtiums flower mix.
I had intended to colour in the border of this artwork with a pattern, but have since changed my mind. A mistake I have made is leaving pencil marks behind before painting… whoops.
I also purchased some brush holders. They came in a three pack. Finally no rolling around brushes.

Thank you for reading. Hope your May went well.
