A bike ride to a seaside suburb
On the last day of Autumn and an unseasonably warm day; I went for a bike ride to a suburb that is close to home with the intention of gathering images for future artworks.
I am not as fit as I used to be- thanks to past desk jobs and frequent migraines! So I thought it best to get outdoors bike to the destination rather than drive and get some exercise in. I was lucky it didn’t trigger a migraine phew- starting to get fitter.

Here are some of my inspiration photos from my bike ride.

During the bike ride and looking at the landscape, I was pondering how I would go about creating art from them. I felt the images would look great translated into collages. This is not the consistent style I had been working in for the past year at all, but is one I have dabbled in on and off. I am pondering changing style to see if that appeals to a broader range of people? I don’t know and feel like I am generally lacking a direction with multiple parts of my life currently. Collage is what I am drawn too for these inspiration photos, so I will have play and maybe some direction may come from it.
